JPG to PDF settings, explained
Four options control how your PDF looks. The defaults suit most photos.
Page size
Fit to image makes each page exactly the size of its photo, so nothing is cropped or padded. A4 (210 × 297 mm) and US Letter (8.5 × 11 in) place each image on a standard page, scaled to fit and centered without stretching. Pick A4 or Letter when the PDF will be printed or submitted through a form.
Orientation
Auto matches each page to its image: wide photos get landscape pages and tall ones get portrait pages. Choose Portrait or Landscape to turn every page the same way.
Margin
No margin fills the page edge to edge. Small adds about 7 mm of white space around the image and Big about 14 mm, which helps when a printer trims the edges.
File size
Original quality keeps your JPG data exactly as it is, so the PDF is roughly the size of your images combined. Smaller file resizes each image to at most 2000 pixels on its longest side and saves it at a lower JPEG quality. Phone photos often shrink to a fraction of their size, which helps with email attachments and upload forms that have a size limit.
